Sydel Curry

Hi everyone! Sydel here and I am so excited to share with y’all all things fitness, wine, faith, and family. I am a newly graduated, southern raised young woman who is ready to take on the adult word by full force. Taking 13 years of volleyball athletic knowledge and my participation as a Division 1 athlete at Elon University, and shaping that into a new way of fitness and fun.

From an early age (14 to be exact) I knew that my true calling in life was to work with individuals young and old and break the negative stigma behind mental illness. My time at University studying Psychology and Human Services has set me up to gain more knowledge and to advocate for those of us that are dealing with any type of mental illness, to break the stigma, and how to overcome.

The charity I would like to shed light on is NAMI. NAMI is an organization that is dedicated to educate, advocate, listen, and lead the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
